The company focuses on creating cross-cultural and innovative works across theatre, stage, and screen. As the first Chinese Australian cross-cultural performing arts organization, it integrates diverse cultural elements to heighten connections between Asian and Australia. The company has pioneered cross-cultural theatre and film projects, earning recognition for its contributions to artistic innovation and multicultural expression.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cross Encounters has received numerous awards and nominations, including the Victorian Award for Artistic Excellence and the Melbourne Arts and Events Award.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Over the last years, the organisation&#8217;s impact has attracted international attention, and has been shortlisted for the annual Non-Profit Organisation Awards. It remains a leading force in cross-cultural performing arts, actively contributing to Australia&#8217;s artistic landscape and international cultural exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its work has been featured on media outlets like SBS and Xinhua News Agency. The organization collaborates with governments, universities, and cultural institutions to promote cross-cultural dialogue through performances and workshops. It has also debuted several theatrical works at theatres and arts festivals and partnered with the Governments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cross Encounters is highly regarded both in the industry and wide community.
