We extend the boundaries of cross-cultural theatre, stage and screen works by delivering productions that investigate the possibilities of innovation, deep collaboration and two-way exchange between culturally diverse artists, as well as creating unique theatre experiences that clashes together different theatre forms, stories and technologies.
Currently the group has a particular focus on art that addresses Chinese-Australian contemporary film and web video, physical theatre and live streaming projects.
When it comes to the Screen genre, we have developed projects that showcase the dreams and realities of Chinese Australians, especially female. We use web videos, short films and other forms to bring these stories to growing audiences. Many of the themes are about self-growth, independence; reflecting the life of young Asian theater people.

We’re lucky to be recognised as an emerging leading group in creating ground breaking intercultural arts projects. Our coming production will be a bold attempt in an underexplored area .
Music will play an important part in this production and there will be interesting cross-cultural presentations. We’ll do some improvisation with both Chinese and Western classical music elements in an exciting way that highlight the dramatic elements of the movements, as a result create a visceral experience for the audience.
The Melbourne based production will potentially tour nationally and internationally.
All of our key creatives have long-time professional background, with different personal styles and cultural background. With the luck of government endorsement, now we’re reaching out to communities for collaboration opportunity discussions. We’re excited to see what comes out of the co-creation process.
We are continuing to develop a new direction for artistic exploration and as a result create unique and meaningful interactions between different cultures. We’re excited to see what comes out of the co-creation process.
