We’re dedicated to creating innovative intercultural theatre, stage and screen productions. Our projects encompasses different forms, cultural traditions, stories and technologies.
We extend the boundaries of cross-cultural theatrical works by delivering productions that investigate the possibilities of innovation, deep collaboration and two-way exchange between culturally diverse artists, as well as creating unique theatre experiences that clashes together different theatre forms, stories and technologies.
Currently the group has a particular focus on art that addresses Chinese-Australian contemporary physical theatre, live streaming and short web videos.
A friendship of life and death
We aim to present a major production every year, which will be mainly performed in VIC and NSW.
We’re lucky to be recognised as an emerging leading group in creating ground breaking intercultural arts projects. Our coming production will be a bold attempt in an underexplored area .
Music will play an important part in this production and there willbe interesting cross-cultural presentations. We’ll do some improvisation with both Chinese and Western classicalmusic elements in a exciting way that highlight the dramatic elements of the movements, as a result create a visceral experience for the audience.
This Melbourne based production will potentially tour nationally and internationally.
All of our key creatives have long-time professional background, with different personal styles and cultural background. We will develop a new direction for artistic exploration and as a result create unique and meaningful interactions between different cultures. We’re excited to see what comes out of the co-creation process.
